Give

We give generously to deepen our trust in God and to impact the lives of others.

Let’s be real, it takes a lot to trust others with our finances, but we believe that everything we have is God’s anyway – so – giving back a portion helps us trust Him even more. When we do this, we impact the lives of others through the work of the local church.

We believe the top competitor for our devotion to Jesus is money (Matthew 6:24). Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things. We believe you can’t outgive God, so when you’re trusting Him with your tithes and offerings, we know that He will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10 – 12). We think Christians should be the most generous people (2 Corinthians 9:6) on earth to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!

Making an Impact

When you financially support the work of Calvary, you’re not just helping us do what you see every weekend – you’re helping us make an even broader impact in and throughout our community. Whether we’re supporting the groundswell effort in India, staff members, or utilities, everything goes toward helping Calvary make a real difference. We couldn’t do this without the generous support of those who attend, so please consider a gift toward our General Fund.

$1 For One

Each week, we all give one extra dollar to help others in our community to know and feel the love of Jesus. We call this the $1 for One. That’s right – every single week, we give what you give – directly to the person who was nominated. Whether you’re here to give in person, or wish to use Venmo, please consider making someone’s week just a little more special!

Frequently asked Questions

What is Planning Center?

Great question! Planning Center is the name of the service Calvary has partnered with so that you can give online. Their platform is reliable and safe, and they have made it as intuitive as possible for you to support Calvary online!

Why can't I use Planning Center for the $1 for One?

While Planning Center is great, the intent of the $1 for One is to give just a little extra each week. After processing fees, these small gifts become smaller, so we have limited $1 for One to cash and Venmo only.

Since its beginning, it’s been $1 in a box located toward the back of our auditoriums. As more and more no longer carry cash, we now offer Venmo as an option to support the $1 for One digitally.

What happened to Paypal and Cash App?

We no longer use PayPal and the Cash App. You can still give to the $1 for one digitally, just through Venmo only.

Can I mail my giving?

Of course! You can mail repeating or one-time gifts to the church office.

Bellevue, NE 68123

When will I get my year end giving statement?
If you gave financially to support our work during the year, a giving statement will be sent via email by the end of January. You may always view your most up-to-date statement at Planning Center.
When are $1 for One gifts delivered?

In order to ensure the timeliness of the $1 for One needs, all gifts given through Venmo, or through the $1 for One box will be given to the recipient of that week’s nomination. Gifts received after 10 a.m. on the following Monday will be attributed to next week’s nomination. Gifts received through Venmo cannot be applied to other “funds,” such as the General Fund of Calvary.

Can you help me with my finances?

Absolutely! We have a variety of ways to come alongside and assist you. Find out more about planning your finances, getting one-on-one help, or taking a Financial Peace University class.
